Hallo zusammen,
Folgende Antwort bekommen: (kurzer Ausschnitt)
To get our company through these troubles, we find it reasonable that we deviate from our ordinary cancellation policy.
According to Norwegian travel insurance law under these circumstances (force majeure), we are normally not legally obligated to return any money you may have transferred to us for your planned stay. However, we know this is a hard situation not only for us, but for our guests as well. We have therefore in consultation with our lawyers come up with a solution we deem fair for both our guests and ourselves.
We find it most reasonable for both parties to split the cost of these happenings. We find it just that each booking-group shall pay a cancellation fee of 1500 NOK per person. For example, if you have booked a stay for 4 people, no matter how long, you shall pay a cancellation fee of 1500 NOK x 4 persons = 6000 NOK. Note that we include the prepayment in this total price, meaning if you have already payed the 3000 NOK in advance you can subtract this from the respective cancellation fee. This way, we can manage to keep our fishing camp alive in this troubling time.
On another note, we in Utsikten Fiskeferie AS are trying our best to accommodate our guests and are trying to reschedule your stays to the fall for those who are interested. If we manage to reschedule your stay to the fall 2020, the cancellation fee payment can be postponed until then. We will finish all ordered bookings for 2020 this year. This means we will not transfer any bookings made this year over to next year. For 2021 only new bookings will count. However, we still do not know if the borders will have opened by this fall, so we ask of you to be aware that the we still might not be able to open up our fishing camp to foreign tourists by then.
Bernhard
